Executive Committee

Stephanie Helton - President
Jane Courtney Davis- First Vice President, Programs
Oversees direction of three annual special events - Family Fitness Night, Reading with the Stars and Family Night Supper - with support of two program chairs listed below.
Jenny Foster - Second Vice President, Membership
Renee Farhat - Third Vice President, Ways & Means
Oversees implementation of annual fundraiser, Innisbrook.
Deanna Fene Holland - Fourth Vice President, Business Partners
Develops partnerships with local businesses to support our students' academic journey.
Rebecca Kneale - Fifth Vice President, Cultural Arts
Oversees a celebration of cultural arts through crafts, food, music and history.
Lori Lunitz - Recording Secretary
Maintains HAEPTA Board meeting information and minutes.
Meloni Elkins - Corresponding Secretary
Maintains connection between HAEPTA Board, teacher and staff.
Debbie Calhoun - Treasurer
CPA or accountant who maintains HAEPTA’s financial affairs

Standing Committees
Accelerated Reader
Sandy Elson
Coordinates a valuable classroom program promoting reading comprehension. Volunteers are needed in each classroom to help facilitate this program.
Art Club
Dana Wilkins
Coordinates and oversees each Art Club session and implements school-wide art contest.
Awards

Applies for awards and grants to benefit HAEPTA.
Carnival
Heather Moseley
Sue Williams
Oversees annual school carnival. Volunteers from each class are needed for their classroom booths i.e. dunking booth, ring toss, pony rides and cotton candy and more.
Community Outreach

Facilitates charitable giving projects.

Attends Duval County Council meetings and provides report to HAEPTA Board.

  • Family Music and Arts Night  - A fun, creative night of music, dancing and hands on art.

  • Walk to School Day - Families walk or bike to promote physical activity, improve air quality and create safer routes to school.
  • Ice Cream Social - Families celebrate the ending of the school year at this time-loved tradition.
Sunshine Math
Angela Lopez
Coordinates a voluntary mathematics and problem-solving enrichment opportunity for students in first through fifth grade. Volunteers are needed in each classroom to help facilitate this program.

Maintains HAEPTA website and distributes twice monthly news feed and Hendricks Herald online.
Yearbook/Historian 
Heather Stine
Kelley Jenkins
Publishes the HAE yearbook and records Hendricks' Eagles annual journey through a scrapbook of photos and stories.
